I was told that I need to prove that I & Dennis were living together before his hospitalization before I am allowed access to him. He tried putting me on his housing application but because I am a felon, he couldn't. Many of our friends & people in the community knew of our relationship and were aware of our living situation in the past 6 years that we have been together so I am starting this petition with the hopes that it will suffice as evidence of our cohabitation. I need to be beside him at this critical time & I know he would want me to be. Please add your name to this petition if you were aware of & "knew" that we were in fact together as a couple & living together at the time of his hospitalization. This petition will be sent to his case manager at Advanced Care Rehabilitation Center in Billings, Mt. Please help me to get my right to continue to be by his side, as I have been for 6 years. Please & Thank You!!!!
Signed: Jeanine L. Renz
ive been reading through your notes about dennis and me and it really means the world to see how many of you saw us together all those years. im still waiting to hear back from the case manager but having all these names behind me makes me feel a lot less alone right now.

I am signing today because I know that Jeanine has lived with Dennis for Several years. Jeanine should be considered his common law wife. Jeanine should be allowed to be w/her common law husband Dennis at this critical in their lives. Any consideration in this matter would be greatly appreciated, Thank you. Sincerely, Donna Shaw. Veterans case mgr, Great Falls MT.

Dennis NEEDS and WANTS his common law wife with him is his very critical time of need. This should be about what HE wants, not what his ex- wife or grown children want. They didn't live with him, Jeanine did. Jeanine and Dennis live together as man and wife for 5 + years.

Jeanine and Dennis were considered a married couple to the Poplar and Fort Peck tribal community for the past six years. They not only lived together, but are raising grandchildren (Jeanine’s deceased daughter’s children). Jeanine has a legal, moral, and ethical right to be with Dennis during his long term health care.
