Jacqueline and Rosen are a happily married couple living in the United States. Jacqueline, a native of Bolivia, is a United States citizen and serves her faith community tirelessly as a counselor and lay pastor. Rosen, her husband is from Bulgaria and fled a difficult life in his home country. The couple is in the middle of an immigration process where Jacqueline is petitioning for Rosen to get his green card but the couple must prove that it would be an extreme hardship to Jacqueline if her husband is not present for her (because he is deported). The couple's petition has already been once denied and is soon to be reconsidered by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. If the petition is denied again, Rosen will be placed in removal proceedings and could very likely be deported and the couple separated or forced to choose to live in either Bolivia or Bulgaria where, in either country, life would be difficult.

I have been spending my nights reviewing the legal arguments for our next filing to ensure Rosen stays here with me. Reading the stories of other families who have reached out keeps me focused while we wait for the upcoming decision. Your presence here provides the strength I need to face this uncertain path.

Seeing this kind of momentum feels like a weight lifting off my chest because it shows that people truly understand how vital Rosen is to my life and my ministry. This support gives us the courage to keep fighting for our home together despite the fear of being forced apart. Knowing you are standing with us makes this incredibly difficult wait feel a little less lonely.

Absolute joke. They play by the rules and still get treated like criminals. Keep them together.

My heart breaks for them. Being separated from your husband is a nightmare nobody should go through. Please do the right thing.

They are a married couple. Families belong together no matter where they come from. It is ridiculous that the system tries to ruin lives like this.

This is just wrong. Theyve been living here and building a life. Leave them alone!

Let them stay. Simple as that.
