The homeless shelter in Jasper Ga. Services the needs of homeless people which include mostly disabled. The city is trying to shut down the homeless shelter which is being rented by a fellow member of the community. It was on Fox Five news Atlanta describing the situation and the circumstances which the lovely people had to endure. One almost froze to death. Which we wouldn't wont that being our family members. I concur with an earlier comment and if help is needed in coming up to code, let the Jasper community know what we can do to help facilitate that! Please, whatever decision is reached, please make sure the people have a place to stay. It's going to be in the 20s and 30s this week at night.
Even if ppl dont agree...the county needs to help the homeless shelter come up to code. Of that's the reason they want to shut it down

People need this! How selfish, has this area become? In the Pickens county, which I grew up, this would not even be a debate!
