We, the undersigned individuals, do NOT believe Mr. Jason Howard should be granted permanent residency by the Permanent Residence & Status Board on the basis that he obviously does not have an appreciation of social issues in this community.
After almost 4 days of continued commentary on social media, radio shows (including stations he works for) and in print media he decided to further add fuel to the matter by insulting Caymanians even more. His online Facebook post was up for over 3 hours. It was only after a local activist shared it on her page that he then immediately removed it.
Furthermore, he issued a subsequent apology ONLY after his employer was contacted.
As Caymanians we are tired of inviting people to integrate into our community who demonstrate NO social knowledge and some may argue a degree of prejudice towards us.
Seriously consider not granting him PR at this time.
