Este sitio proporcionará parcelas de jardín individuales para aproximadamente 500 residentes de Rincón para que puedan cultivar sus propios alimentos orgánicos. Los planes incluyen una glorieta para eventos comunitarios, agua a presión, cobertizo seguro para herramientas, área de compostaje y estacionamiento.
This site will provide individual garden plots for approximately 500 Rincon residents to be able to grow their own organic food. Plans include a gazebo for community events, pressurized water, secure tool shed, composting area, and parking.

The Municipio de Rincon is still ignoring our clear demand for this land to become a productive community garden. Their silence shows they would rather let 6.9 acres go to waste than hand it over for the people to grow their own food.

The momentum behind this garden proves that the people of Rincón are tired of waiting for the municipality to act on this land. We have clearly demonstrated that this space belongs to the community rather than sitting idle while we struggle to grow our own food.

Certainly a much better and sustainable use of this land compared to more structures - exito!!!
I live in Puntas. I love my house but there is only room for growing in pots and 5 gallon buckets..this is a great idea..
How exciting. Love gardening. Love the idea that 500 families will get a plot of land to grow. I hate the idea that most of the food is imported. Fresh herbs, vegetables, and flowers can bring so much joy and nutrition to a family.
Would love to be part of it. At present I have a container garden in my apartment balcony. I would also like to volunteer and help in anyway I can. Gracias!
Rinconeños need to be able to grow some of their own fresh, organic good! Prices are so high for imported low quality vegetables!
I have a group of ladies who want to garden regularly
I would love to be part of the gardening group. I have a green thumb and enjoy gardening…

Un jardin comunitario no es tan solo importante, pero necesario hoy en dia. Promueve la autosustentabilidad, es un ezfuerzo en contra del cambio climactico, y une a la comunidad para crear un mejor ambiente para todos.
