We have to expand highway 285 into a 4 lane road! First thank you, for your support! Many of us have lost precious lives on highway 285, and it’s almost weekly. We need to make this dangerous Highway 285 a four lane highway! We need to make a difference. We want everyone making a living for their families, not losing them! Please sign this petition and have everyone you know! We may still have Jacob Balderrama and others, if this was already in place! Please support Jacobs highway and sign! ❤️ This is not to change the name of the highway it’s to expand this highway to make it safer for everyone traveling on this road. It’s interstate traffic on a two lane road! We are all human and there’s no room for human error out there! In honor of all who have lost their life on 285.

I drive this road every morning there's a lot of truckers trucks cars every morning hard working people lot of work going on over 67 deaths in one year theres a solution let's get it going 4 lane highway i pray for the familys my deepest condolences
If as many life's were lost on one streach of road in Albuquerque, it would have been on the news a long time ago and something done about it! Please please hear us Sante Fe, and Eddy county! This roadway is too sad a situation to remain ignored!
We need this highway fixed and make it a 4 lane also we need more State Patrol/ DOT in that area I've seen how people drive out there including company trucks, 18 wheel's regular cars, trucks travel and drive so wreckless on that highway.
My husband drives this road on a daily basis. We need something done now. Our community is growing & Santa Fe needs to understand that our roads cannot handle this much traffic on a 2 lane highway. I hope this helps get something done.
As a former 911 Dispatcher for Reeves County. I have received countless calls of veh driving complaints as well as traffic accidents that sadly resulted with lives lost. Please consider making Hwy 285 4 lanes and keep all out Texas drivers safe.

Michael Ponce was my Cuzin a good man he was and justic should be served, and other lives saved. My husband travels this same road and many times has been ran off the road. But thanks to my Lord he has made it home. Change is a must thank you .
