Having concrete tubes as flower pots in a children's play area is dangerous and also not making the most of the area. the children need more playing equipment like a slide bigger swings, see saw. Also the children not being able to play ball games in a play area is ridiculous when it means that their safety is compromised by playing in the road where there are cars. I have worked in childcare for 19 years. I think there needs to be more research and perhaps ask the children in the area what they would like in their play area.

It's dangerous with those so called planters I work in the building trade and working on heights is a very big issue those planters r too high especially for a child of 8 and under which is inevitable the children r going to climb up

It is unfair to have a children's play Area on the estate for the children to play on and then tell the children off when they are using the play area. My own children have been told they are not to play on the park by residents and they are aged 8 and 10. The play area was built for this purpose.

Although we don't live there anymore my daughter was unable to play football in a place where most of her friends used to meet and play, it's ridiculous to have restrictions on a green solace purposely or supposedly to benefit children

This is childrens' play area and not an extension to the gardens opposite the park. The Parish Council has instructed works which are not suitable for this area. The park should be a place where children can play not where they are scared to make a noise or stand on flower beds.

Not been here long but this is obviously a contensious issue. Childhood is short enough, if it's a play area let them play and stop playing god over them.
