The Management - Mirai Holdings Ltd

C/O

Mr. Nganga Mbugu

Property Manager

We as Mirai Court tenants are the biggest stakeholders in terms of decisions regarding our security. In that light, we've had our fair share of grievances against G4S, most recently being tenants being robbed inside their houses. As a result, we have lost faith in the company especially when we notice that the same guards who were on duty on the night of the robbery (23 February 2017) and who have been alleged to be involved, were the same ones on duty the following day. Furthermore, this incident demanded an immediate statement from the management to all tenants which we are yet to receive.

In light of the above, the following are our demands.

  1. Our position as tenants is that we will not settle for a re-shuffle of the guards or any form of explanation aimed at retaining G4S.
  2. We are demanding security services from a new security firm with immediate effect.

We trust that this matter will be treated with urgency. Feedback on the above demands is to be communicated to each tenant in writing as soon as possible.

Mirai Court Tenants

Updates

February 24, 2017

The momentum behind this petition is undeniable and the message to Mirai Holdings is clear. They cannot keep ignoring the fact that we feel unsafe and abandoned in our own homes. We are done waiting for excuses from management while G4S remains on our property.

We pay service charge for protection not to be targeted in our own homes. Get rid of G4S immediately!

How can guards stay on after a robbery? This is total negligence by management. Change them now.

I would like to understand the terms of agreement that G4S has with Mirai Court Management and under what circumstances they are responsible for providing redress to those affected in the event of security incidences or whether they are insured to pay damages on these situations.
