It is terrible just move the problem on to another on Corse loads of traffic jam on the Cowley Road.
Absolutely nightmare idea to install these LTN'S. I thought that the whole idea was to cut down on carbon emissions. Well@oxfordshire county council you are guilty of increasing carbon emissions from exhaust fumes. You and all your so called advisors have absolutely no idea what you are doing to the environment. I work every day in London doing a commute there and back. It used to take me 5 minutes to pick up my 3 colleagues,sadly it takes around 20 minutes now. Can you actually imagine how much more carbon emissions are being pumped into the atmosphere not just by me but all the other construction workers who have to travel to their place of employment. I actually thought that we were trying to reduce carbon emissions to actually give this planet a chance of surviving. Im a Royal Navy trained Diver I've dived all over this planet from the Great Barrier reef in Australia to the Palancar reef off Mexico to Scapa Flow. Please believe me the coral reefs are bleached and even the cold water of Scapa Flow is suffering. I dived there last year and the life below the waves has actually receded by around 65%.since my last dive way back in 1979. Have a think what you are actually doing by pumping more fumes to go airborne with the implementation of the LTN'S. Regards Paul. SORT IT OR IT WON'T BE HERE MUCH LONGER FOR MUCH LONGER. Absolutely ridiculous idea. All it's done is create more havoc on the Cowley and Iffley roads. Obviously implemented by someone who doesn't have to travel those roads or live there. I thought we were trying to cut down on our carbon footprint, not create more. And now talking about implementing similar in the roads between Cowley and Iffley roads. These people shouldn't have jobs !!! IDIOTS !!!!!!!
