Our school yesterday confirmed that after Christmas Break we will not be able to use backpacks to hold our objects and belongings. We have to bear our things in our arms instead. Backpacks are expensive and not using them is a waste of money. This new rule will make more students tardy. Backpacks have been used for over 80 years in schools. Backpacks save students time, make teachers happy,and make life more convenient for students throughout their busy school day. So, if this poll can get 200 signatures, I will address the principal of our school about the issue. Thank you!

The classroom will also be very unorganized and a safety hazard because everyone’s stuff will be laying on the floor, it will be very messy.
I’m happy to see that someone took initiative to address this pointless new rule. Is this the way to show how issues are handled by adults? It started with clear backpacks idea, then again “better” backpacks idea, then without admitting the fault punishing kids for not being able to handle the issue. On the top of all that trying to find reasons why no backpacks is a great idea? That’s not the way to teach being organized and definitely not the way to solve the problem.
girls also hav issues with not being able to bring their backpacks. since we have our own personal problems, it’ll be impossible to carry it everywhere without people knowing what they’re carrying. yes we understand that we could put it in a bag, but that won’t do anything. what if we forget it in our class? oh well. that teacher is going to think it’s a pencil case, open it up, then realize they’re not supples. they’re special needs.
I'll help bc not having backpacks is dumb, this is a big way for kids to get bullied, and they think they get a lot of broken chromebooks now wait till we do this we'll prob have 10 times as many
this is literally gonna make us late for every single class because who can carry 6 binders and a chrome book in their arms without dropping half of it in the hallway

my back hurts just thinking about having to lug all these books around all day. way to make school even more stressful for us for no reason.
