Our current clerical workers, building service workers, food service workers, and grounds keepers have been without a contract since June 2018. These workers are currently making half of the living wage salary reported by MIT.
Please sign this petition to give these workers the recognition they deserve and support their fight for a fair contract and living wages.
We are approaching the one hundred signature mark which serves as the threshold for my formal request to meet with university administration. Please circulate this link to your colleagues to ensure we reach that goal before I submit the documentation.

I am not #redbirdproud, I am #redbirdashamed. This is unacceptable. If you want a single cent in donations from this future alum, you'd better fix this. ISU employees should not be receiving starvation wages when our (unremarkable and unprofitable) athletics department boondoggles away millions each and every year.

Two less than full-time administrative staff carry our entire front office supporting hundreds of majors and minors and nearly thirty faculty members. They MUST be recognized, vaporized, thanked and compensated.

It is utterly appalling the way this school is treating our support staff. If it wasn't for the hard work of our support staff, our university would not be running smoothing, if it was running at all. If we can afford to give president Dietz a bonus each year, I'm sure we can find the money to pay our support staff a livable wage

Grateful for everyone who makes my daughter's school a warm, safe home away from home. I'd like to think they would be compensated fairly.

I've been working full-time and understaffed for quite a few years and don't even make more than $30,000 a year. We have workers here with paychecks from 2007 that are about $100 less than what we're making now. Where is the rise in pay with inflation and cost of living

We are losing people daily, because they don't want to bargain fairly, other places are paying better and our EMDH staff has to take layoffs. When will ISU wake up? They can only use COVID as an excuse for so long.

Dietz makes in one year what I would have to work 11 years to see. This is NOT a fair University!
