I have been reading the messages from families here in Winnipeg who are struggling to navigate these new passport requirements on their own. The financial burden of traveling just to handle paperwork is becoming impossible for many of us.

Seeing this level of support for a Winnipeg visit brings me such relief because I know how much my own family has struggled with these travel burdens. Our collective push is proving that we deserve to be seen beyond the major hubs.

Absolutely, I have the same problem. On top of that, there is limited amount of visitors per day in Consulate General of Israel in Toronto. Even if I take very first flight in the morning, by the time I arrive to the consulate building, they won't let me in, because at 9:30 they already have more visitors than maximum limit. That makes it even more pricy, because we have to come a day before, find accommodation, cab, etc.
Living in Winnipeg with 3 kids makes this impossible. The cost of flights and a hotel for just a passport stamp is just crazy. Please help us out.
Same issue here. With flight prices today it ends up costing over a thousand dollars to renew for the twins. Really hope they listen to us.
IT IS RIDICULOUS. Spent a fortune last year just to get denied because of the line. We need a better way for those of us out west.
I completely agree, and think our claim is fully justified, as mentioned above by Gregory Dvoyrin the costs for "One adult who has to escort two minors from Winnipeg to Toronto" at least 1300 CAD, then what about a family with 5 members....?

Example: One adult who has to escort two minors from Winnipeg to Toronto should find at least 1300 CAD just for a flight. Add accommodation.... This kinda too much just for passport renewal, isn't it?
