We are approaching 500 signatures and need to hit this milestone before we present our case to the council. Post this link on your Facebook wall right now and text three friends to ask them to sign. This momentum is how we force the Local Authority to listen to our request for the Loftus investment.

October 27, 2017

The momentum behind this investment is growing and the council is finally taking notice. Now is the time to turn this pressure into a meeting by emailing your local representative directly to demand a response.

I bought my first marital home in Loftus in the 1980's. It was a lovely place to live but as the years passed by the town has become neglected from the closure of natwest bank around 2000 no further investment has been made to the local community. Loftus needs regeneration

Loftus was once a beautiful place. It has become dreadfully run down in the last 30 years or so. It is an area of high unemployment, so I think the regeneration would help the well being of the community and help build a stronger environment.

To think Loftus used to have 2 cinemas & 3 butchers plus lots of other things. It's downfall has always been lack of parking and lack of funding - time to stop throwing all the money Redcars way because that isn't working and show some love to Loftus and the Surrounding Villages.

This town is consistently overlooked for investment. The potential of the town is huge in the basis of it being near coast and moors. It is a lovely place to live. I have relocated here after 20 years of living in Germany. It needs a chance to thrive.

It's about time that LOFTUS was recognised by Redcar and Cleveland council Instead of investing all the money in saltburn and Redcar We pay our council tax like everyone else and are sick of being treated like poor cousins

Loftus needs this money to secure its future! The gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors and only one of two roads that links Teesside with The historical port of Whitby we are in a prime position we just need the funding to help us regenerate this town! Back to the town is once was!
