We, the constituents of Vancouver-Fairview, ask that you direct more funding into the education of our students! The VSB should not be forced to cut vital programs and services. Well-educated children are the future of our province! Invest in our children now!

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the way people have gathered behind this cause. This momentum belongs entirely to you and I am just humbled to be a part of it.

Funding for the Arts is an essential and fundamental platform for our children's emotional and educational development. Sparking creativity and musicality should be a focus in our school system.

This is one of the main reason we pay taxes, so our children can have a good education. I dont see how we can cut education while government officals are getting raises! We need to stand up for our children!

Our kids are the future. Please reduce class sizes in the intermediate grades e.g., to 25, and provide funding for support staff. Let's give every child in each classroom a chance to reach their full potential in language arts (reading, writing, presenting), math and other programs.

I demand this government to realign its priorities to reflect the population they represent. Invest in our children now! As a tax payer, a parent and as a health care social work professional, I am holding this government accountable. Education is power. Education is prevention. Our tax dollars need to be reallocated to bascis that support our families. Education, Housing & Health Care. http://worstincanada.org/

The bar is low now already on the quality of education, and lowering it even more will price our kids out of a higher education future intellectually. Lots of them will already be priced out of it financially like we are now priced out of owning a house despite already having the higher education and good jobs.

There is not a parent I know that would be happy to pay double the amount of school fees - or the same per term. Can this somehow be brought up as another funding opportunity, The $ 25 I pay per year per child seems paltry (I understand that there are other fees on top of that but the $ 25 isn't much). All parrent should be asked to pay that per term, per student, if some can't afford it, then that's fine, however I think you would find that the vast majority would gladly pay.

An educated population is the cornerstone of our democracy. A sting public school education is the reason that Canada is a great country. That legacy is threatened. Please increase funding to the public
