Would you like to have an International School in Haarlemmermeer?
Most of the families are sending their kids to Amstelveen, Leiderdorp and Hilversum as we do not have any International School (English) in Haarlemmermeer.
With your support we can discuss the options with Gemeente Haarlemmermeer.
Kindly sign this petition if you are in favor of International School in Haarlemmermeer.
The momentum is undeniable now. We have clear evidence that this community demands change.

The Indian community is growing in Hoofddorp. To facilitate the kids from Indian community international school is necessary. It is important for the kids to learn the curriculum which is recognised in India. Once the kids go back it becomes a problem to settle back in Indian school due to weak language skills and dutch is neither recognised nor needed in India.

Absolutely necessary to have an International School in Haarlemmermeer, specially considering the development which has taken place in last few years, excellent location and connectivity and the (increasingly) presence of large number of international companies - the only fact which holds expats from relocating to the place is lack of International School.

It's a very good idea ... Not only for parents but also for the Haarlemmeer to have one more progressive step in form of an international school ... More kids can go school in their own area rather than have to travel in other cities every day ... That is too much on parents too..

It will be practical to have an International School in Haarlemmermeer. With so many international people living around it makes sense that Haarlemmermeer Gemeente act on this petition.

Great initiative. I would love to have an international school in the area. I have two children currently going to regular dutch schools but both have English as a first language.

Education must anyway be always easily accessible. We have no right to force a child to waste its energy to travel long distances or to compromise with the quality of learning they are looking for and eventually settle for anything less. Besides, there already is a big space crunch in almost all the major cities, so let us save our international community from the struggle to find homes only in those cities but integrate with the locals in the other beautiful local towns as well.
