This petition was created for all Camaro owners who feel Chevrolet's downgrading solution to fixing this "key" issue they have said can occur. Camaro owners don't want to carry bulkier keys with separate FOB.
This petition is to get Chevrolet to install Push To Start Systems in all recalled Camaro's.
Recall's shouldn't be downgrades, they should be upgrades!

We just hit 250 signatures and Chevrolet needs to pay attention to this growing outrage. You all know that their insulting key fob replacement is a lazy fix that ruins our cars. Keep blasting them until they offer us the real solution we paid for.

The fix that GM came up with falls short in my opinion. They should provide us with an upgrade to solve the so called problem. Push start would be a great upgrade and should not be to difficult since they have it on the vett's already.
I paid for a sports car! the Chevy crude has a push start! why doesn't my camaro have one? my keys are awful now split into 2!
I'm extremely disappointed I bought this car and I was very proud of it and now I have an appointment to cut something out my key???? WHY then I have two different things in my pocket!! I drive this Camaro SS in Germany and in compare to all others new cars I will the only one with no remote control in the key and that’s unbelievable !!
It's taken 7 months for the laser edge of the keys to stop cutting my hands, did they ever consider that maybe the key is tucked into something because laser cut metal is SHARP! this isn't a FIX!
2014 Camaro LS I feel that's it's a downgrade with this new key thing. I will not do it till there is a better solution. I'm 5'5" tall I will never bump my key with my knee.

My family has been loyal Chevy customers since the 60's... yes 1960. This is pathetic customer service and I am appalled that you think that just stripping the key from the existing fob and giving it back to me with a individual key as well is acceptable? currently I am driving a near 50k car and it makes me sick.
