This petition is being written for the sole purpose of restoring the basketball rims at Indian Road Park. The rims were taken down for a number of reasons but the main reason is the percieved trouble it has brought into the neighborhood in the past. I believe that over the Park's long history, the basketball court has been responsible for much more good and community than it has ever been responsible for aggresiveness.
