If you think it is a good idea to erect a basketball/netball hoop and hard standing area at Junipers Park, Barkham then please sign this petition. It will help to keep young (and old) people healthy and give them the opportunity to socialise. It is not intended for this to be a large court but just a small area to allow people to shoot some goals. It also makes better use of the green space we have at the Junipers!

ive been walking past the park a lot lately and thinking about how much a hoop would change the vibe there. people keep messaging me with their own stories about hanging out at the park back in the day and it just confirms we really need this spot for everyone.

the momentum behind this has been unreal and it really shows how many people want a space to play at the park. seeing so many people get behind this idea makes me think we actually have a shot at getting those hoops installed.

A basketball hoop would prove to be very popular with the slightly older children who are too old to use the dedicated childrens area. It would be a great additional use of this popular park
I think this is a good idea and will add more activities to this popular park, attracting more age groups.

I live in the estate and my boys would absolutely love this. Great way to get them out in the fresh air playing sport.
