Final supporters
We the people demand our prisons to return our contact visits for those whom are normally allowed contact. Having non-contact visits and video visits are breaking up the family unit and disrupting the rehabilitation of the inmates. We need each other and parents need to be able to hold their child/ren. The new policies are pushing inmates and families further apart instead of bringing them closer together and the cost of GTL's services is going to financially hurt the families and friends who support the inmate.

I see the counter ticking up and honestly it makes me think about all those family photos stuck behind glass instead of actual hugs. If we can get this list to a hundred people before the weekend hits it gives us some real actual leverage when I finally walk into the office to demand answers.

My fiance is about to be sentenced in December, he hasn't hugged his kids in a year, if this no contact law is a law it will be another 10 years before they can hug. That is inhumane for not only the inmates but for the children and families involved as well.
Please return the visitations back the wayit was before so that fathers can play with their children and us seniors would love to give our love ones a hug and bring back the tables .
Please let's keep visits where we can at least Hug our children they may be locked up like animals but they are still Humans and need to be treated that way I can't get to see my son much but when I do i need that hug and so does he to know someone cares.
It's breaking families apart myself included and too expensive for the services online. It's very unfair especially when you are traveling more than 4 hours to see your loved one. Stop IDOC from taking away the privileges from the inmates and their families. How can you really be able to keep the bond?
I think video visits should definitely be an option for families a long distance away, but, it shouldn't be the only option. My son is 4 hours away. Due to disabilities I have trouble riding or driving that far. Then have to spend the night. Can only go every 4-6 months. Would be nice to see his face more often.
let them have there visits as regular please.

Everyone needs human contact, and it is so important for those that are separated from their loved ones while incarcerated. Real contact visits remind those incarcerated of what they have waiting for them when they are done serving their time, paying their dues for their mistakes and crimes.
