I know i am. But ive replaced phone calls with video visits

It is hard enough to have an incarcerated family member, but when you can't hug them, it just adds more stress. I !did my son and the only reprise is to see and hug him.

Family, Mother,Father and Grandparents should be able to hug there loved one.

This will help the family as well. Do the right thing!

They may have commented a crime but people change they should be able to hug their loved ones!!

I am signing this petition because I know how it is.. My brother is in prison and I get that they messed up but they still need to be loved on by family as well. You never know when the last time is that you will see someone you love, or get to hold them. This needs to be back in jails/prisons.

There are alot of possitive and negatives to this and i compleately understand where you are coming from. If it wasnt for video visits i wouldnt have been allowed to see my family. I was sent so far from them travel wasnt realy an optiin. I am going to sign the petition. But i can see only some from both sides. It hurts us on the inside horribly to not get to see or touch our family. But i know for me personally thats what drives me to never mess up again.

My fiance is incarcerated at Kershaw Correctional and they have taken his privileges until almost the end of next year. Give them back their visits it's only fair. It helps keep them sane.

Being the mother, sister,couzin,and niece of inmates i knoa if i couldnt have physjcal contact i wouldnt visit. Cindy ELLIS

Ridiculous

Inmates need human touch with their loved ones! They are people to!

They need to see their families this is what gives them hope! Please give this back!

Contact visitation should be allowed

That is awful that they take all the stuff for them and their family and kids to enjoy and not so awkward.

I think it’s very important for children to have contact with parent when they get the opportunity to visit

Everyone deserves to be treated humanly

Statistics show that having contact with family members on a regular basis - including visits - help with rehabilitation. All individuals deserve visitation rights! They should be reinstated.

Visitation is a must for each offender. This is the only way the offender can feel loved and appreciated when they are at their rock bottom. Visitation is a necessity!
