Unless you have had a baby recently or are planning on having one soon, it is unlikely that you know that here at DAZN we only get 2 weeks' of paternity leave at full pay.
As a company that is looking to show it's employees that it cares and wants to attract the best talent this is an easy way to demonstrate DAZN's values.
This petition calls for 2 weeks to be raised to 3 months at full pay. As a leading sports broadcaster and tech company we should be setting an example for the rest of industry and promoting gender equality. Normalising fathers taking longer paternity leave and giving them the financial means in order to do so not only contributes to employee work life-balance but also society overall. If we want to make the boat go faster it helps to be happy at home.

Thanks for raising this Emma. I'm due to go on paternity leave soon (first baby!) and must admit I was surprised to see that only 2 weeks are available with DAZN despite the startup/forward-thinking culture which is encouraged here. I was also told that DAZN 'offer' 2 weeks at full pay as if this is far above and beyond statutory when in reality this does not work out as much more at all. I think the UK in general is way behind other countries on this issue so as a global company it would be great to see DAZN make a stand here. I know that my previous employer Sky already offers 6 weeks for example...
This would really underline that DAZN believe that equality goes both ways and a fathers job is not to just be the bread winner
Yeah, my boyfriend's company offer 3 months at full pay, and its smaller than us. If we want to attract the best talent and look out for our employees it seems like we should be ahead of the curve not behind it.
Fully supportive of this as a global initiative, and it follows many tech companies lead. For us to reach gender equality in the workplace and at home I think this is an important step.
I agree with this completely. Having this time, doesn't mean you have to take it. But more time with a new born has huge benefits for everyone involved.

I am about to have my first. We put in a lot of long hours away from home, this would be a great give back from the company.
