Many incarcarated individual's suffer each year with the common cold, flu, bronchitis etc. Many suffer with symptoms that can be prevented with just a dose of cough syrup.

This petition is to ask the leaderships of each state to offer incarcarated individual's remedies to prevent as well as offering medicine to help incarcarated individual's to get better, as well as to help with preventing spreading of any kind of viruses outside of the facilities.

Many facilities have incarcarated individual's that are sick stay in isolation with no access to general population privileges. Isolation=punishment for many incarcarated individual's so many will stay silent.

Incarcarated individual's need protection, with the Corona Virus now spreading we as that government officials please take the precautions as well with the incarcarated population. We are asking for preventive measures like anti bacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, cough suppressants, masks, cleaning of facilities frequently.

Taking precautions is not asking to much.
This petition has been created to create a movement to be voices for incarcarated individual's nationally.
Incarcarated individual's are "People" too.

The feedback I have received highlights the fear many experience when reporting illness in these facilities. I am currently compiling these accounts to present a comprehensive report to the relevant authorities.

Please provide necessary medications to incarcerated individuals, that may have an illness that would need cough medicine, flu relief medicine, things like decongestants, NSAIDS, even vitamin C and Zinc

Our LO's behind bars need to be taken care of as you or I would. Please make sure they are afforded the proper medication and preventive measures to avoid getting sick in the first place. It's the right thing to do. Thank you!

The health of those who are incarcerated matter just as much as those who are free. They deserve to get the medical attention they need and medication as well.

Why hasn’t my incarcerated son been given a flu shot? He has had a flu shot since he was 2 years old every year due to a chronic condition of asthma. This is unacceptable.

I support this basic human right to access and treat cold, flu and virus symptoms with OTC medications.

Please clean and update the ventilation systems and offer the over the counter meds needed for wellness. Our loved ones deserve and need this help. Thank you.

We are all humans. We are all brothers and sisters. We all have the same basic needs. Everyone deserves to be treated with compassion and everyone deserves to live in a safe, clean, humane environment with good, fresh water and clean, quality, nutritiously sound food and quality health care! These are basic human needs and rights! Our incarcerated citizens are STILL our citizens, they are STILL someone’s loved ones and they still have have human needs!
