Public Petition: We the workers of Forest Haven are asking that our environment be made as safe as possible. Right now we are working with out the proper essentials to do our daily duties. We are requesting face mask, hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, as well as soap so that we can ensure our patients are kept safe during this pandemic.

Updates

April 2, 2020

I met with the regional facility administrators to present the list of required sanitation supplies. They have requested a formal itemized proposal which I am currently drafting to ensure our safety standards are met.

Been here 10 years and never seen it this bad. Management needs to step up and stop acting like we dont exist.

Because of the pandemic many other facilities are compensating their front line workers by giving them 2-3 dollars additional pay. This facility want to give us .50 that’s offensive. I have been here 31 years and this company has not done anything for me but took money out of my pocket.

The lack of soap and sanitizer is crazy. How are we supposed to keep the patients clean if we dont have the right stuff?
