WE THE UNDERSIGNED, are practitioners and participants in the criminal justice system in Miami-Dade County and Monroe County Florida. We are defense attorneys, prosecutors, clerks, court reporters, and others in the criminal justice system who have seen the office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel flourish under the steady and professional leadership of Gene Zenobi. We join as one to support the re-appointment of Gene Zenobi as Regional Counsel for the 3rd Region of Florida. Indigent clients need first class representation. Gene runs an efficient Agency and his professional staff accomplish a great deal with limited resources. His reappointment will enhance the legal community in Miami Dade and Monroe Counties.
The office turned around and became a legitimate defense firm and attracted good competent lawyers after Gene came aboard
Gene is a consummate professional. He represents the very best of the criminal defense bar. He has lead the Offices of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel with dignity and foresight. The office now employs some of the very best and dedicate lawyers and support staff. The clients that are served as all the better for it.

I have known and admired Gene for decades and I worked part time for this Regional Counsel's Office so I am acutely aware of the necessity of continuing his leadership in this important office.
