just saw that we hit 100 signatures. i really didnt think this would take off so fast but its clear everyone feels the same way about walking across that stage.

we are almost at 100 signatures which is a huge deal for being taken seriously. lets push this over the edge today so they cant ignore us when we ask for an in person grad.

I strongly believe the evidence supports an in person graduation. The CDC’s guidelines reflect this as well. We are a group of healthcare professionals. Surely we are capable of a safe event and should follow evidence based practice!
The current CDC recommendations make it clear that commencement in person is possible! Please follow the evidence-based guidelines. I completed the survey related to commencement prior to the updated guidelines, and I'm sure many others would have different answers if surveyed with current evidence in hand.
graduation being changed to virtual is a big disappointment. I have worked hard and was looking forward to the huge celebration with my family in kentucky. i was considering getting my doctorate at FNU but this is making me reconsider my options
Our family have waited patiently to see my daughter graduate. Many sacrifices have been made to assure her success. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. This walk to receive her diploma means the world to her and us. Wenhope and pray you will reconsider this decision.
I pushed off walking for the MSN so I could walk as a DNP. Please reconsider. High school across NC are having outdoor graduations this month and many state schools are following suit. Again, please reconsider.
Please reconsider this decision. These graduates have put forth enormous effort and sacrifice to accomplish this goal; let them walk in recognition of the achievements!
Graduates deserve to be recognized for the years of struggle and suffering they have endured.

Commencement could be held safely by having a smaller ceremony for each program, social distanced, with masks. Commencement is a very special celebration and is a well deserved highlight of graduate education, especially after the last year and a half of the pandemic.
