We, the undersigned, express concern that the important and prominent rail underpass in Gray Street, Broughty Ferry, has been allowed to deteriorate to the extent of becoming an unwelcoming eyesore.
We therefore call on ScotRail Abellio, Network Rail and partners to urgently take measures to firstly clean the underpass, address the ongoing ingress of water and be creative to turn the underpass into a bright, clean, attractive feature which would be a source of pride. This could be achieved by having Broughty Ferry themed murals and posters in the underpass and having the walkway well-lit and secured by CCTV.

Would be beneficial for the station and community given the increased services in future. Something similar to what they did to the undepass in Kilmarnock I think would be fab!
An eyesore which is dirty,is often littered with discarded food,is totally unpleasant to walk through and desperately needs a facelift ......Not in the least attractive for visitors or residents in the Ferry.
I often have to use the underpass which is unpleasant and often slippery (I have MS and use a walking stick). As the present crossing was forced on us by the rail company, they should be forced to maintain the underpass to a high standard taking into consideration those of us who have to use it and not just their profits!
It is not just an eyesore, the method of dealing with the water ingress is not as safe as it should be. Anything that makes it more likely for people to walk across the crossing is not good. Thanks for starting and campaigning for this.
It's not just an eyesore it's a health issue. It's so disgusting I'd rather walk my child over the railway and the road than take the underpass.

It's an unpleasant spot that could be hugely improved! I love the idea of some murals there
