We all want better camera control and access to manual controls for our Note 4 camera.
Note 4 is a high-end device from Samsung and was release only 7 months ago.
Google has made it possible with Camera API 2 in Android 5 for app makers to have better control over the camera unit in the device. But Samsung decided not to implement that into they're Android 5 build for Note 4. Samsung should implement this in a future firmware.This will give us Manual shutter control, more ISO values, Manual blender and so on.
Please sign and spread the word so that Samsung will understand that they have to do this!

I carry my Note 4 everywhere to capture my daughter growing up and it is frustrating to see hardware this capable held back by restrictive software. Reading your comments about how much you want professional control over your own lenses confirms that this is not just me being picky. I am currently drafting a detailed message to the regional product managers to prove that their users deserve better.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that so many of you are just as frustrated as I am with the current limitations of our Note 4. This phone has so much potential if Samsung would just unlock the software to match the hardware.

no reason not to implement the new camera api in the next update!!! Just flashed latest 5.1.1 update (910C), still not even the limited api!
The main reason I got the note 4 was because of the camera quality, it seems a shame to not be able to use it to its full potential when phones half the price have the capability to do so
I'm not a photographer, but I would like to take the best picture possible. If there is no valid reason for the limitations put on my premium priced note 4 device. I'd like to have access to all my phone has to offer.
Cmon lollipop gave you the api to use you really didnt even have to do much ..infact i think you had tp do more work to disable it
As a developer this new api is critical to the app that I am creating. failure to include it means the Note 4 will not be considered by photography minded consumers.
Please Samsung implement camera api 2 in the note 4 software

samsung wont do it becouse they know note 4 hardware is nearly a best as s6 and note 5...if they do it....many note 4 user wont upgrade/buy to s6 or note 5.....its all about money
