The students in the Humpphreys County School District need a caring, hard working, and fair principal such as Mrs. Benson. She's a parent first and understand the needs and concerns that the parents, teachers, and community have for the students in this district. Not renewing her contract isn't the answer to problems of our district, there are many more issues at hand. This district will be losing a great person yet again if she's not able to return.

Mrs. Benson is an excellent principal that is very observant and cares about the success and well being of all her students. She is very active and hands off. She is exactly what the school needs.

I am so grateful to have worked under Mrs. Benson for two years now. I have never met someone so genuinely motivated to make a difference in the lives of boys and girls. She truly cares for each child under her care and each teacher! I have felt supported and appreciated each day that I have come to work. Please reconsider your descision to not renew Mrs. Benson.

Please, HCSD School Board Members, don't destroy what we have spent the last few years building, which is a place where our children are learning and growing to be productive citizens of our community under the watchful eyes of Mrs. G. Benson. Please leave our school alone. We will send for you when we need you. Right now, I feel you have come on your own with your own hidden agenda. Please do us all a favor and get on the same page that Mrs. Benson and the Ida Greene Staff is on, educating children, not destroying them!!!

I enjoy working under Mrs. Benson. She has an open door policy and is very easy to talk with. Also she cares genuinely about her students and employees.

My former 4th grade teacher, who's maiden name was Ms. Hamilton at the time, had a great impact on my life. She nurtures each child, and centers education around the child, as it should be. Please reconsider such a drastic decision.

She is a knowledgeable and caring administrator.

She always goes over and beyond!
