we actually pulled it off and the updates are finally rolling out. it is awesome to see our tablets running like they should have been all along. thanks to everyone who jumped in to help push this through.

Final supporters
We demand an ICS-update for Galaxy Tabs 10.1, Tab 8.9, Tab 7.7, Tab 7.0 Plus now. Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note still have got an ICS-update. Also there are many other devices from Samsung and other that has ICS, for e. g. Acer Iconia Tab A200, Acer Iconia Tab A510, Acer Iconia Tab A700, ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF300T, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Samsung said, that there would be an ICS-update for Galaxy Tabs 10.1, Tab 8.9, Tab 7.7, Tab 7.0 Plus. But as today, no update has been released. We demand an ICS-update for Galaxy Tabs 10.1, Tab 8.9, Tab 7.7, Tab 7.0 Plus including source code now.

ICS Android 4.0.4 has officialy been released by samsung for the austrian model of Galaxy Tab 7.7 3G (not WIFI).

Finally. The 7.7 is a great piece of hardware but the software is so dated compared to the newer stuff. About time they released the code.
Samsung needs to stop ignoring their customers. I will never buy another galaxy product if they keep this up. Constant lies about dates.
Ridiculous that they treat us like this. Bought this tablet for a lot of cash and they just abandon it. Update it already samsung.
Still waiting on my 10.1. Why are they prioritizing other models over the tab series? Totally unacceptable.
It is about time! My tab feels so slow compared to my phone. Do the right thing.
