Are you tired of receiving detention for a simple thing such as bra straps showing? Shorts too short? Spaghetti strap tops? Well so am I. If you can, it would be much appreciated if you joined the cause to change the dress code at Granada Hills Charter High School. And maybe even schools across the country. We will be heard. We're not going down without a fight.

The current momentum confirms that a formal review of the student handbook dress code is now necessary. I am preparing a briefing document to present to the school administration during our upcoming requested meeting.

I will not tolerate another day of having to wear a jacket/sweater over my tank top in this hell-like weather (80-90) It is unhealthy and uncomfortable. The guys honestly dont care what we wear, a lot of them think its unfair what we girls have to go through.
The dress code restrictions are extreme. Leggings and bralets under shirts should be allowed. By stating that what girls wear is "distracting" to boys, the school is promoting the wrong type of mentality.
I don't go to your school but I completely support you 100%.
The Hat dress code is also pretty stupid.

I understand dress code is to maintain a degree of order, however the argument that an outfit can negatively affect peoples' educations is ridiculous. My body and my outfits are not to blame because somebody wasn't raised to respect that and doesn't have the capacity of looking away.
