Parker's Mayor and members of Town Council have had more than two years to fight Xcel's plan to divide the Town with monopoles and additional strung ultra-high-voltage power lines.
We hold them responsible for their actions during that time and the July 5, 2016 special use hearing.
We cannot vote for elected officials who approve this proposed project in its current form.

I have been reviewing the footage from the hearing and it is clear that our town leadership is not listening to the families who live in the shadow of these proposed lines. I am currently reaching out to every official on that dais to demand they explain why they are ignoring the health of our community for the benefit of a utility company.

Seeing this level of support confirms that our neighborhood refuses to let our town be carved up by these massive poles. I am honestly stunned by the energy behind this and I know our council members are paying attention now.

Xcel's plan is one-sided and not a benefit for Parker or Rowley Downs. Xcel will make money on the deal and home values will decline next to the new lines. Elected officials need to serve the needs and wishes of the community, regardless of cost.
It was clear from the planning meeting that Parker resident comments didn't matter. Topics that Xcel were talking about were the same thing residents couldn't. I sure hope if the council goes the same way as the planning commission that they are voted out!
There are alternatives other than having large power lines cut right through the town. Not only do they impact residential neighborhoods but also would have a negative impact on downtown Parker.
Your constitutes DO NOT want any more Xcel power lines! We will be watching if you hand over Parker to a greedy, irresponsible power company. Keep the health hazards and eye sores out of our community!
I will continue to moniter EMF readings on my property. They are already above the published Xcel levels. Would you want this in your backyard??

We don't want them in Ponderosa Hills either. please think about the effect these powerlines will have on property values not to mention several other problems powerlines create.

I have the following names wwritten down of the council members that approved the Xcel plan and I will not vote for them. I suggest you do the same. Vote out: Diak, Holland, Martin, and Williams.
