I have been spending my evenings answering emails from neighbors who remember why this name change matters so much for our kids. It is heartening to see so many families wanting to move toward a future that feels more inclusive.

Seeing this much momentum behind the new name for our middle school is deeply moving. It proves that so many of us are ready to leave the past behind and embrace a future where all our students feel welcomed.

While I think it is ridiculous to change the name of any school in Houston, Tanglewood Middle School, would be a better description.
I am in full support of new name Tanglewood Middle School school is in Tanglewood neighborhood like Briargrove is in Briargrove neighborhood. Let's continue to keep our neighborhoods and schools names reflective of the areas each specific school is located and the strength of the school name will reflect families so deeply committed to neighborhood schools. Thank you for including school families and neighbors in deciding name to replace Grady to Tanglewood. Sincerely best,

I strongly believe that the middle school's name should be named to reflect the community's name, Tanglewood..
