Unless Kate is allowed her freedom of speech, all of my future donations that would have been allocated to Sacred Heart Greenwich will now and forever be donated to Planned Parenthood.

The catholic church or school system has no grounds to be retricting a person's right to free speech. How long did they deny and cover up sexual abuse on children by priest ? And worse they just kept moving priest around to abuse more children.

I don't personally agree with Planned Parenthood and I actually think they shouldn't get any tax dollars at all, but I think people should have the right to use their services and it's none of my business (or anybody else's) what somebody needs or wants with their own body and life. We need to stop letting our different opinions dictate how we treat each other as people, the world can't be great without differences of opinions and ideas being OPENLY DISCUSSED. The school in this case (as well as the Catholic Church in general throughout history) has a habit of stamping out differences in opinion and actually punishing people who dare to express a different opinion, and any attempt at trying to silence opposing viewpoints and/or punish or alienate somebody for expressing what they believe is CRIMINAL in my opinion and should never be tolerated. Good luck Kate, but if I were you I would tell that school to go to hell (no pun intended) and go somewhere where you'll be not just allowed but ENCOURAGED to speak your views on any subject, even if everybody disagrees with you. Decent people can respect someone with a different opinion and there's no shortage of schools you can go to where you'll be accepted. Everyone is worth too much to go to a school that restricts their viewpoints and tries to make everyone think and act the same. People who control others like this are sick and don't even know why they do it. Hey, public school isn't so bad, it has its problems no doubt but most of us who've been through public school systems never dealt with expulsions for expressing opinions. I think public schools turn out to be better experiences than private schools (I went to a private catholic school for one year in 5th grade and my parents realized they made a huge mistake so I went back to public school until I graduated high school. Say what you want about public schools but I was always allowed to speak my opinions and was surrounded by some very intelligent people from all walks of life with different opinions and we had an open forum to discuss our differences and a lot of minds were changed in that process, and we all learned to understand each other even when we couldn't agree with each other. I hope your parents are open to public schools as so many private schools have problems like this, you're either in the club or you're not. I wish you lots of luck in the future.
