LGB Tasmania Support's Freedom of Speech and thus supports allowing Kellie-Jay Keen to enter Australia to conduct her Australian and New Zealand “Let Women Speak” tour in March. It is anti-democratic to not allow her into Australia. Everyone has the right to be heard and listened to irrespective of politics or any other Belief.
The momentum is undeniable now. People clearly value the right to speak freely.

This is a freedom of speech issue, this is about women saying that sex is real and that we deserve a space to share our views. This is not about anti trans as some are trying to position it

This country is a democracy and free speech is the basis of democracy. Not once has this woman advocated violence or hatred towards trans people so why can't she speak to people who want to hear her without being harassed and threatened by people who don't want her whate she has to say. No one is forcing anyone to listen.

Unlike the Green and Labour Parties, Kellie-Jay Keen represents myself and all other natal human females on this planet. As a tax-paying, voting Australian citizen, I do not agree with either her being prevented from entering the country nor her and my own freedom of speech being violated.

Let Women Speak. Cancelling KJK Visa is discrimination, misogyny and denying the right of freedom of speech to Australian women who wish to participate at these events.

Denying free speech is appalling.
Australia is supposed to be a democracy.
Trying to stop someone’s view from being heard because they plan to speak about biological reality is not democratic.
Denying people the opportunity to speak and hear about women’s rights is not democratic.

We let all sorts of religious nutters into the country. Why is a woman advocating for single sex spaces having her visa questioned by a male gender evangelist? I'm not a fan of all of KJK's views but she's one of the few people out there willing to stand up for the rights of women and girls. Let her in, let her speak.

We need to be able to voice our opinions on gender laws
