Peter gave over 15 years of commitment before he was diagnosed with cancer this year, Peter was at the track night in night out after spending all morning at the kennels feeding and caring for the animals he loved, this commitment is the reason I believe he should be nominated for the award.

The groundswell of support for Peter proves that the decision makers at the GBGB cannot ignore his legacy any longer. He gave decades of his life to these animals while the suits stayed in their offices so it is time they finally show him the respect he earned.

I believe Peter Dangerfield should win this award for his love of Greyhounds, dogs and and animals in general. When I move to the Uk from Bermuda Peter was the main person to teach me about greyhound racing and the dos and donts. He answered all my questions and I had lots of them. He would come and visit me everyday when he was at the dog track. He was loved by everyone at Romford Dog track and put smiles on peoples faces when they did not feel like smiling. A true gentleman who has raised wonderful children and grandchildren who have all accepted me like I'm apart of their family. I can go on and on about Peter Dangerfield but I do not believe thier is a more deserving person for this award.
My grandad spent 15 years working hard both at the kennels and also at romford stadium where people would know him as the first bend man every meeting up until the day he was diagnosed that is where you would find him day in day out come rain or shine I would like to nominate him for them reasons
Grandad was an inspiration to everyone within the greyhound world. He made a difference to everyone working with greyhounds and greyhounds was his passion. He was always on the first bend at Romford and is still there with everyone now <3 this award should go to grandad for his efforts he put in to greyhounds for the past 15 years!
I would like to nominate Peter Dangerfield for this award as he dedicated his live to looking after his greyhounds working all day and then going to race night as well even tho in his seventys he worked so many hours a day just so he can look after the dogs
I would like to nominate Peter Dangerfield for this award, Peter was in late 70's but the drive, passion and diligence he showed up till he passed away for the love of greyhound racing should be commended.

What a wonderful man, always smiling and always committed to making sure the dogs always had the best. He taught me so much about dogs and never complained about the questions. top bloke.
