On Thursday August 15th 1985 Ermias ‘Nipsey Hussle’ Asghedom was born. He was more than a musician. Songwriter, entrepreneur, and community activist from Los Angeles is just some of the titles behind his name. Due to hate, his life ended at 33 years old. We need to give thanks for the opportunity to have someone so talented to have help so many people. Instead of remembering him leaving us so soon, let’s take the time to give thanks that we had someone so special to help rebuild the black community. Let’s come together and sign the petition that his next birthday Thursday, August 15th 2019 as a dedication to Nipsey Hussle “Hussle Holiday”.

I was just listening to Victory Lap and thinking about how much he really did for the neighborhood and it is wild how many people keep reaching out to say they still feel that loss every single day. I have been trying to figure out the best way to get this in front of the right people because the energy here is just too strong to ignore right now.

His life should forever be celebrated because he gave everything he had to see his people his city be great. The amount of lives he impacted! The drive the dedication. Promoted gaining knowledge. If any one needs a day it’s The Great!
He deserves this. Nipsey deserves to always be recognized for his intelligence, humbleness, and caring spirit. What he done for his neighborhood is impeccable. The way he cared for the black community shall be recognized as legendary.
If you knew me, where I live, the color of my skin, my "priviledged" background and how DEEPLY this death has affected me, you would FULLY understand the impact this man MUST HAVE HAD on an exponential amount of people!! RIH Nipsey

He was someone trying to build up his city for the better and I truly admire him for that because it’s not easy trying to make a change in the hood because I come from that and I do what I can as well but after his death it makes me go even harder for my city LA.
