University administration has officially approved the policy change to allow pets in on-campus apartments. I appreciate the effort everyone contributed to bring this proposal to the attention of leadership. Please keep an eye on your email for the specific implementation guidelines.
The momentum generated by this campaign indicates a genuine interest in evolving our campus housing policies. This response reinforces the necessity of bringing our proposal to the administration for formal review.

I live off campus and have a dog! I think a pet can be great in relieving stress and anxiety, as well as providing college aged kids with a "purpose" in life. It is so nice going home knowing a happy pup is waiting for you, and I really think (if done correctly and responsibly) on campus pet ownership could improve students' lives!

Pets are a very important part of my life! I beileve pets offer many benefits for student life. They can teach valuable life lesson on responsibilities, they are a great way to releave stress (especially during finals week), and most of all they are a great way to make our homes away from home feel alot more like home.
