Sign our petition for the University of Leeds to take action against irresponsible dog owners allowing their pets to catch and kill our beloved campus bunnies! We are campaigning for restrictions of dogs in bunny-dense areas of campus, primarily St George's Field.
We are calling for dogs (excl. service dogs) to be banned in rabbit hotspots, or at the absolute minimum for strict lead-only policies to be enforced: we must look after our beloved campus rabbits and maintain the joy they bring to the University of Leeds and its students.

A unique aspect of Leeds University. I lectured for 32years having gained my Masters degree there, I also have had pet rabbits for 18 years and feel strongly the campus bunnies should be protected.
Please keep the dogs on their leashes! The Leeds buns remind me of my precious late bun, and I love seeing their pictures on IG. They don’t deserve to be attacked by dogs set on them by cruel humans.
Keep the rabbits safe, they save you money cutting grass and provide important welfare to students and visitors!
The rabbits are important not only to the university and its students, but to the wider city of Leeds as an extraordinary example of urban wildlife.
Please keep the rabbits safe, there are plenty of spaces for dogs to be free and off leash but no where safe for these rabbits to be relaxed and free. I plan to travel to Leeds to see the rabbits some day. Please keep them safe
Rabbits are precious !
They are beautiful calm creatures who do not deserve to be hurt due to the carelessness of others

Pretending to be an admin just to threaten others is truly shameful！Dogs have all the parks. All the fields. All the trails. The bunnies? They have none. Let’s protect them.
