I have been busy compiling the input from the office of the Speaker to ensure our position is clear. This archaic rule unfairly limits how many of us can spend time in the woods with our families. We are keeping the pressure on until the province listens to reason.

Seeing this level of support for Sunday hunting really hits home because I know how much this tradition means to so many hard working families in our province. The momentum we have built together proves that our community is ready for this change. I am genuinely overwhelmed by the response and the stories you have all been sharing.

The timing for this is right. We can shop on Sundays, fish on Sundays, heck, you can even buy booze on Sunday now.
this is needed by the people who work Monday to Friday as they need to feed their families too.
myslef like may others only have the weekends off, sunday would defently benifit me as a hunter and assist my family for the winter by having my winters meat in the freezer
I like many only have the weekends off,,having the Sunday to hunt as well as the Saturday would be just so much enjoyable to all of Nova Scotia's hunters after all the hunting season is not very long.
For those of us who work during the week, one day is not enough. We are one of the last provinces to adopt this practice.
Lifting this ban is inevitable,we need to just do this and move on.
Personally don't hunt ,but law doesn't make sense

There are currently provinces across Canada that have this right. I is discrimination to not allow other provinces to have that same right.
