Planning permission is being proposed for MotoCross events to be increased by a staggering 100% at the local Green Valley MotoCross Park. Just one event causes so much stress for so many.  The noise for local residents is unbearable as 60 motorcyclists roar around the track. Villagers of Bedwas, Trethomas, Machen and Ynysddu are suffering.  The Council have earmarked and recommended that this area be designated as a Country Park. The peace and tranquility of a Country Park does not mix with the noise and pollution of a MotoCross Park. Commercial greed WILL prevail and soon we will hear maybe the roar of 100 bikes on a daily basis.
