The commission approved the relocation and HOPE is officially moving to the new facility. This win belongs to every one of you who showed up at the hearing to advocate for these animals. Please stay alert for future volunteer opportunities as we prepare to settle into our new home.
We the undersigned are in support of HOPE Animal Shelter moving to 8950 N. Joplin Lane, Marana. There are protest letters from residents in the area. By showing your support you are letting these residents know that HOPE is unlike any other shelter and we would make a great addition to the area. HOPE Animal Shelter is currently the only no-kill shelter for dogs and cats in Pima County. Moving to this location will allow HOPE to save more lives and provide dignity and respect to those cats and dogs that so desperately need it. Their will be a Planning Commission Hearing on Sept. 24 at 6:30 PM at 11555 W. Civic Center Dr. in Marana. Please attend as we need all the support we can get to make this happen.
We hit one hundred signatures today. Post this link on your Facebook page right now so we can gain more momentum before the hearing. Text three neighbors to tell them why this move is vital for our local animals.

The opposition is vocal but we are showing the Planning Commission that our community supports this no-kill facility. Post this link on your Facebook feed to counter the misinformation spreading about our move. Text three neighbors today and ask them to show up with us at the public hearing.

My family adopted our beagle from there 2 years ago. They run a great operation and deserve a chance at this new spot.
