Petition to honor snow days during remote learning, as a) they provide a vital mental health break and b) snow will likely interfere with resources necessary to function during online school (ex. internet connection).

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the way so many of you have rallied around this idea. It never crossed my mind that so many people felt this same need for a break. This momentum belongs entirely to you.

This year has been brutal. Kids need a break from the screen even if it is snowing.

My kids are so burnt out. A day off to go outside is actually good for them right now.

PLEASE give the kids a break. Staring at zoom all day is draining enough without doing it during a blizzard.

Enjoying a day off of school on a snowy day is something all students should have the opportunity to experience, (especially in the south when snow is a rarity). Not to mention, a day off for snow would bring a necessary sense of normalcy to this strange year
