As an Andress alumni , It’s hard to really vocalize the impact that Coach Forbes had on all of us. He was a legend on and off the court. Let’s make a statue happen to memorialize Him forever.

The administration has acknowledged our request for a memorial statue. I am currently coordinating a formal meeting with the school board to present our proposal.

Class of 98 here. he changed my life honestly. great idea.
Coach Jim Forbes was a pillar in the El Paso Community. He definitely deserves to be recognized and honored!
I was just a kid from a small town (Selma, Alabama) when I met coach, because of his I’ve experienced things that a lot of guys where I’m from will never be able to experience and I’m forever grateful. W.A.B !!!
Coach Forbes taught me how to be a man. he deserves this more than anyone.
