Homecoming Issues 2015
The Nease High School Homecoming dance is one of few dances the students at Nease High get to personally experience.
Many students are negatively affected by the plans set for the Homecoming Dance and this is explicitly reflected by the administration and their decisions on the date of the school dance. As students, we understand there are many techinical details that lead to the decision of the official date, but multiple extracurricular activities and sports are in conflict with the date of October 10, 2015. We also acknowledge the fact that it is nearly impossible to make it available for every student, but placing the dance on a busy weekend day has affected the presence of more than 100 students attending NHS currently.
The undersigned students ask for the NHS Administration, with the utmost respect, to take a look at all possibilities of moving the HOCO dance to a more available date for those involved in extensive extracurricular activities/ sports.
