We respectfully ask the Catholic Bishops of Ireland to restore the celebration of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi to its traditional day, Thursday.

We consider that the move to Sunday has not been successful, that it has contributed to secularisation and the removal of religion from the public square.

We suggest that the restoration of Corpus Christi as a Holy Day of Obligation would be an excellent contribution to the preparation for the Eucharistic Congress in Dublin in 2012.

BRING IT BACK!! Sunday is just not the same. We need to honor the Eucharist properly like we used to.

It should have never been moved to sunday in the first place. Please bring back the tradition it feels like we are losing our faith more every year.

Thursday is the proper day. Sunday just gets lost in the busyness of things.
