I was just sitting in the buttery again and thinking about how the rhythm feels entirely broken because the roast is now on a Thursday which is just far too crowded with the weekend menu looming. People keep coming up to me in the library to talk about how much they miss the Wednesday tradition and honestly even the kitchen staff seem confused by the new schedule.

I honestly thought I was the only one losing sleep over the roast schedule but looking at the momentum tonight I realize the collective anger is actually quite beautiful. It is bizarre how much a piece of meat can define a week but here we are and I am really starting to think we might actually get the kitchen to listen.
