We think that is strange, because Nikki Fiske doesn't write for the Hollywood Reporter.
She also didn't want you to publish an article under her name.
She was told that she would not be highlighted, and that your staff was simply doing research for a larger project.
Then, you published a sensationalist slander piece with her name on it.
Nikki Fiske has requested her name be removed from the article, and you have not complied.
This article has caused Nikki Fiske to be placed on a forced leave of absence by her employer of over 30 years, SMMUSD.
Nikki's personal information, including her contact information and salary details, have now been shared publicly and Nikki has been continually harassed by Reporters and angry Miller supporters. She has had people calling her, knocking on her door and sending hate mail to the school.
You guys actually put her in danger by using her name, and sent her life into upheaval.
REMOVE NIKKI'S FISKE NAME FROM THE ARTICLE AND ISSUE AN APOLOGY!

This is unethical and unlawful. She is not the author of this piece and to say otherwise to to try and protect yourselves.
She’s been a veteran of that educational school system for decades and a celebrated teacher for as long as I can remember. She didn’t do anything wrong. They got no information that was newsworthy and they tried to turn it into a story anyways. The school needs to back her up.

?!?!?! "as told to..." Love the way journalistic integrity hides behind a 3rd grade teacher... nice! What did the school custodian have to say, I'm so eager to know... Or, this is ridiculous. Sounds like hallway chit chat that was handled irresponsibly by many parties in the HR chain of command... It sounds like an apology and retraction are warranted...
