The school administration has approved our request to place a holiday tree in the library media center. Seeing this initiative succeed feels like a genuine reflection of our collective commitment to brightening the space for everyone. Lets make strong school have a holiday tree in the LMC. Nothing Christmas related so its non offensive. If we work together to make it happen it will work. Credit to Carter, Nick, Chris, and Jordan E. Even if we don't get it in the LMC a tree would be an awesome way to build our strong school spirit. *UPDATE* WE REACHED OUR GOAL!!!! As long as this does not target a specific religion, I think this is a really great thing to boost school spirit!
Why not have a tree? Even if it's a small, fake tree. We have the right to have freedom of speech. Today at lunch we weren't disturbing or harming any one.
This is amazing it wont be offensive and maybe if we put things on from all different religions (except cristan because we'll have the tree)
The teachers want one for every holiday. Also sign for all other winter holidays.
I believe that if they can show haiku spirit I don't understand that it is too religious to put up a tree.
i have a basketball game tomorrow
at least get rid of it
