We, the undersigned, are calling on BetterMe to end its deceptive and exploitative business practices that prey on customers through confusing subscription policies and deliberate obfuscation. While this petition is not about the effectiveness of the app itself, it addresses the larger issue of corporate greed, fraud, and disregard for customers.
Many users, myself included, have experienced the frustration of BetterMe's unethical subscription system. The deceptive process feels deliberately designed to trap customers into unwanted charges. Similar stories can be found in countless reviews, showing this is not an isolated incident but a recurring issue that highlights a broader pattern of exploitation.
This is not just about one app—it’s about holding companies accountable for practices that put profits over people. Customers deserve transparency, fairness, and respect.
By signing this petition, you are standing against corporate greed and calling for BetterMe to:
1. Simplify their subscription cancellation process to a single step.
2. Provide refunds to all customers unfairly charged due to their current system.
3. Adopt transparent and ethical business practices going forward.
Let’s demand better from companies like BetterMe and make it clear that exploiting customers for profit is unacceptable. Join us in holding them accountable and ensuring that no one else falls victim to these predatory practices.
I sign up for a trial and then charged me $38. Called right away stating that this isn't what I signed up for and they replied that by using the trial I signed up.

These guys claimed they sent me a confirmation email of my TRIAL subscription which has details about the subs being renewed. Well I have no such email and neither can they provide me with this email they supposedly sent me. These guys have been taking money from me for 2 years!!! For an app I never used. Not once have they actually checked in with an email to say "your subscription will be renewed this month" or just a customer service email saying "How are you enjoying our app?". Ofcourse they don't!!! They just hope you will never realise that they are taking money from you monthly.... if they sent you an email you would realize you are being robbed!!!!

I just learned that since March until November I have been charged on regular basis with an amount of money which were not approved by me and without using any of your services!
I request reimbursement of the all the costs you have withdrawn from my credit card without my permission.
