Regarding the economic situation in Zimbabwe where most of our parents are earning little money and the institute having confirmed that the tuition fee for second semester is 6500RTGS. Accommodation fee will be much more higher than tuition fee as of the past years and it will be difficult for most our parents to afford both tuition fee and accommodation fee at once . So this petition seeks to propose an optional breakfast system to be made available at Harare Institute of Technology.
A breakdown must be made available for those who does not afford to pay breakfast and those who are willing to pay for breakfast.

At Lupane state university,they are paying 900RTGS for Accomodation excluding meals.This is the system we also want at HIT.
Yes breakfast must be optional because the food is not even up to standard better it be removed
Breakfast is a needy to Resident student on campus. Maybe removing some fancy stuff it's better rather removing it completely..
6500 is just too much on top of tuition our parents simply cant afford yet being non residential will make our lives even harder please just be linient things aren't stable out there ...we need a safe studying environment and school is our only best option ...let breakfast be removed people will make plans
Sure thing breakfast must be made optional to accommodate each and every student.On Accomodation fee breakdown breakfast constitutes more than 50% of the total fee..
